MLGD - What you ought

Hey dudes and dudettes!!
So this is a different kind of MLGD "My life goes Disney". To make a long story short, during social studies, a fellow classmate of mine and I had a passive-aggressive debate about our government and our society. He was of the opinion that because our society is much better in comparison to others then complaining about the small flaws that are in our government is a spoiled attitude. Whereas I am of the opinion that just because something isn't crappy, we shouldn't just sit idle by and be satisfied. We should always aspire to make things better, even if we can't make things perfect, there's always room for improvement. That's my opinion in most subjects - even with something as simple as your skills. I mean, just because you're good at something, you shouldn't just make do with that. Why not make it even better?
In the next class I had English and we're studying Shakespeare at the moment so my teacher told us to write a sonnet. She said we could write about anything we wanted and that made me think of what happened earlier so I ended up writing this. My very first sonnet about a subject I am passionate about.
